Purpose: The purpose of this policy is to provide procedures for handling lost and found articles. 

Policy: In order to help the tournament return lost items to players, all items should be labeled with the players name/club affiliation. All items presumed to be lost or misplaced will be placed in the tournament headquarters Lost and Found box. The tournament does not assume the responsibility of verification that lost items are returned to their rightful owners. The items are returned upon request at tournament headquarters and the person requesting the items return will have to show ID - their personal identification information will be logged in the tournament log book. Items not returned will be donated on a timetable set by the tournament committee. No notices will be sent beforehand. The tournament and host association assumes no responsibility for lost items.
